Worship Through Art

Each member comes up with an image in their mind of a character trait of God or a way he has demonstrated it. Then you each draw, paint, or photograph that image before sharing with the rest of your group how it’s worshipful to God. Display and post them, so that others can praise him also!

As a group, think of something you can fashion or sculpt that will meaningfully convey an aspect of God you all appreciate. Then gather the materials, and build that representation of praise up! Use it as a conversation piece for God’s honor in your home or online.

Together or individually, write a poem or short story that encapsulates your gratitude for who God is or what he does. Or find a poem, song, or narrative in the Bible-especially one newer to you-that does the same.

Food plays a big role in God’s words to us, so have your group brainstorm something to cook up that reminds you through multiple senses who he is, what he’s done, and why he’s so appetizing. As you eat together, do so in reverence to him!
